without his mane... WIP

Without his mane, is a lion a lion? no, not quite.

I've been this hunk since saturday. I love gryphons and I knew I had to make one, so a lion/eagle gryphon it was! : D I'm really exited, cus It's the first time I use feathers and my first time with wings~

And I'm using real hen feathers! so when I finished his biig mane today, I couldn't stop petting him~ so soft~

and yes his face is burned.. our new oven decided to burn both head and feet. luckily I can use the head, but I had to sculpt those freakin feet again.

He'll be for sale when he's done~ and he's about 30cm long, and with HUGE wings! I believe the final wingspan will be around 60cm or more o.o

well... yes thats the WIP for today, I know I'm rambling but I'm so exited! I can't wait to finish him and show you the final gryphon~ oh and if you have a nice name for him, name it c:
